JOHN “CARROLL” PATE JR.
ZEBULON - John “Carroll” Pate Jr., 51 died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at the William Dunlap Hospice House of Raleigh. A memorial service was held Sunday, Sept. 11, at Zebulon Baptist Church in Zebulon.

He was born in Wayne County to John Carroll Pate Sr. and Dorothy Langley Pate. He was retired as a gas line inspector with PSNC Gas Company.

Surviving: wife, Robin Martin Pate; son, Kyle Samuel Martin Pate of Greenville; daughter, Callie Olivia Martin Pate of the home; parents, John C. Pate Sr. and Dorothy Langley Pate, both of Goldsboro; brother, Michael Pate of Goldsboro; sister, Tammy P. Osborne of New Orleans; and a number of nieces and nephews.
