ALMA MARY BRANTLEY
WAKE FOREST - Alma Mary Brantley, 64, died, Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Lillian Thorne Morse and Walter K. Morse and was a member of Open Door Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Alma’s Life will be at 3 p.m., Oct. 23, at Open Door Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

Surviving: husband, Bill Brantley; son, Michael Sean Brantley (Anita) of Germany; daughter, Dawn Brantley Gunnels (Mac) of Wake Forest; three grandchildren; sisters, Carol Nichols (Bobby) of Bayville, NJ and Edwina Hicks (Terry) of Brick, NJ; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Morse.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Duke University Medical Center (DUMC) Scarcoma Research Program Fund; DUMC Box 3312 Durham, NC 27710.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-7p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Bright Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
