LOUISBURG — Ella Coley Grissom, 86, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. She was born Aug. 7, 1925. She was a daughter of the late Jimmy and Josephine Coley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Grissom; sisters, Lillie Mae Cox-Robertson, Marie Inez Garrett; brothers, Fred Coley, Bernard Coley, and Lester Coley. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Surviving: daughters, Nancy Poe (Donnie) of Youngsville, Patricia Dement (Ronnie) of Centerville; sons, Calvin Grissom Jr., Warren Grissom both of Louisburg, Lester Grissom (Carol) of Bunn; brother, Frank Coley of Henderson; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
