GENE T. WYNNE
ZEBULON - Gene Thomas Wynne, 65, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Denton family cemetery.

A native of Wake County, he was retired from Redi-Mix Concrete with 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, John William Wynne.

Surviving: his wife, Mary Evelyn Wynne; sons, Reginald Wynne (Cindy) of Spring Hope, Mark Dean Wynne of Zebulon, and Johnny Wayne Wynne (Denise) of Garner; daughter, Betsy Renee Murray (fiancé Jimmy) of Zebulon; his mother, Maggie Pearl Parham Wynne of Raleigh; brothers, Bobby of Zebulon, Charles of Wake Forest, John Robert of Connecticut, and Carl Wayne of Raleigh; sisters, Betty Woodlief of Denton, Linda Creech (Anthony) of Zebulon and Fay Hamilton (Richard) of Atlantic Beach; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements handled by Strickland Funeral Home in Wendell.
