LOUISBURG – Marvin Leon Pernell, 75, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Alert Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the burial to follow in the Pernell family cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie G. and Viola Pernell, and a brother, Jack Pernell.
Surviving: special children, Sherwood (Carolyn) Tharrington and Patrick (Tabitha) Haynes of Louisburg; brothers, Clyde Pernell of Henderson, Roger Pernell of Castalia and James Pernell of Rocky Mount.
