VICKY THOMPSON STALLINGS
HAMPSTEAD, NC - Vicky Thompson Stallings went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.  Vicky, a native of Wood, NC, is survived by her loving husband, Stan Stallings; stepson, Stanely D. Stallings Jr; mother, Onnie Rose Cowell; father, Callie E. Thompson (Jane); sister, Gail Pleasants (Ronnie); brother, Edward Thompson (Carla); sister, Cathy Ann Roche (Carl); nieces and nephews, Daniel Sharpe (Becki),  Brittini Thompson, Jacob Sharpe,  Dusten Thompson, Evan Smith, Emma Roche and Garrett Roche; aunts, Annie Hamm and Patricia Winter (Ben); many cousins and special friends.

Vicky, who was born September 7, 1962, was a very special “angel” who graced our presence and taught us all many lessons in life. She loved gardening and floral arranging. She cared deeply for her loved ones and would lend a helping hand whenever she could. Vicky was previously employed at First Citizens Bank of Louisburg and The Farm Service Agency of Louisburg. More recently, she lived in Hampstead, NC, with her husband, who adored and cared for her faithfully throughout their marriage and through her two-year battle with cancer. She will be missed most dearly by many relatives and friends, as well as her church family at the Anchor Baptist Church of Wilmington,  NC.

Memorial services will be held to celebrate her life at Wood Baptist Church on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3:00 pm and at Anchor Baptist Church on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2:00 pm.

A special thank you to Pastor Jeff Nichols, Pastor Kevin Groves,  Pastor Philip Kissinger and wife Cindee, Pastor Preston Wells, UNC Doctors and nurses, and most of all, our Dear Lord and Savior for lending her to us for a short while.

I was honored to call Vicky Thompson Stallings a friend. Her smile would always brighten any room and she was a ray of sunshine to so many people. Psalms 91:11
