ZEBULON - Jeannette Babbitt Cook, 60, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

She was born in Taunton, Mass., to the late Frank Babbitt and Margaret Young Babbitt.

Surviving: daughters, Mary Jo Young of Raleigh, Kathy Jo Young of Raleigh, Tanya Y. Jones (Morris) of Middlesex, Jacalyn Ondus of Zebulon; son, Jacob Ondus of Zebulon;  brothers, David Babbitt of Reno, Nev., Frederick Babbitt of San Diego, Calif., Kenny Babbitt (Veronica) of Taunton, Mass., Richard Babbitt (Patty) of Taunton, Mass., Dennis Babbitt and Keith Babbitt, both of Spring Valley, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Babbitt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park, Suite 10, Raleigh, NC 27615 or Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 276007
