FRANKLINTON— Funeral services for Cassie Lee Vines, 76, who died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Old Liberty Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dazelle Kearney officiating. Burial will follow in the Vines family cemetery.
Surviving: daughters, Thelma Brown of Supply, N.C., the Rev. Dazelle Kearney and Elizabeth Vines-Chasten, both of Franklinton; adopted daughter, Sylvia Richardson of Kittrell; sons, Deacon Joe Louis Vines of Oceanside, Calif., and Grover Vines Jr. of Norfolk, Va.; brother, James Neal of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Wake services will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
