RICHARD A. SCARBERRY SR.
FRANKLINTON - Richard Alan Scarberry Sr., 64, died at his home in Wake Forest on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Hall-Wynne in Franklinton. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the chapel of Hall-Wynne, Franklinton.

A native of Upland, Calif., he was born to the late Leo Scarberry and Wilma Kalmbach. He was a printer by trade.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin “Benny,” and his two stepchildren, Norman Joseph Gallagher and James Joseph Gallagher.

Surviving: wife, Brinda B. Scarberry; sons, Richard Alan Scarberry Jr. (Carrie) of Wilson, Timothy Wayne Scarberry (Teresa Henson) of Raleigh; daughters, Teresa Cruise (Phillip) of Wake Forest and Bonnie Laurence (Terry Sr.); brother, Garland Scarberry (Tonyia) of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Patricia Disheaux (John) of Defiance, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to assist the family at 3208 Granville Ridge Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
