WARRENTON - Helen Rooker Haithcock, 81, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 at Maria Parham Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 17) at Warrenton Baptist Church.
Mrs. Haithcock was a Franklin County native, born to the late Charlie Strother and Mary Merritt Strother. She was a member of Warrenton Baptist Church where she was a member of the Euzelian Sunday School Class, and was a retired nurse who worked at the Warren County Health Department for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tom Lewis Rooker Jr., one sister and three brothers.
Surviving: her children, Ann Copley of Wake Forest and Tommy Rooker of Warrenton; stepchildren, Cynthia Haithcock of Warrenton and Pam H. Brame of Henderson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
