FRANKLINTON —Jennie Mae Dale, 60, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 19, at 2 p.m. at First United Church of Christ, Franklinton, with the Rev. Jeanette Pender officiating. Interment followed in the Popes Chapel United Church of Christ cemetery.
She was born to the late Joe and Mattie Rodwell Dale in Granville County. She was employed at Hardee’s in Wake Forest for many years.
Surviving: Donald Crudup of Franklinton; daughters, Judy Burton (Jason) and Tina L. Burton (Tracy), both of Franklinton; son, David L. Burton (Tracy) of Raleigh; sisters, Josephine D. Covington (Walter) of Knightdale and Mary H. Epps of Louisburg; brothers, James H. Dale of Bunn and Andrew T. Dale (Colleen) of Wilson; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
