CARL R. “BO” WATSON

FRANKLINTON—Carl Richard “Bo” Watson, 79 died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehab Center in Henderson. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Chapel in Franklinton, by the Rev. Spencer Strickland and Robert Dale Pendleton.

Surviving: his wife, Rebecca Watson; sons, Carl David Watson (Mary) and James W. Watson, all of Franklinton; daughters, Rita Cox of Zebulon and Jennie W. Smith of Louisburg; sister, Gloria W. Mason of Franklinton; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers, John E. Watson, Jr., Samuel Lee Watson, sisters, Eloise Pendleton, Janet Outland; and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind, 2 Penn Plaza, Suite 1102, New York, NY, 10121 or the 2013 Alzheimer’s North Carolina Inc., 1305 Navaho Dr., Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the home of David and Mary Watson.
