DONALD J. HAGWOOD
YOUNGSVILLE - Donald “Bruddy” Jones Hagwood, 91, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at Hospice Home of Wake County. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at New Hope Christian Church with the Rev. Bill Haley and the Rev. Steve Barham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Born to the late John Ollie and Undine Andrews Hagwood.  Bruddy was a retired farmer, owned and operated Hagwood Store  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ardean Wheeler Hagwood; his brother, J.O. Hagwood, Jr., and his sister, Viva Gilliam. 

Surviving: daughter, Donna Hagwood Bullock; one grandson and two great-granddaughters; three nieces; and two nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. at New Hope Christian Church.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to New Hope Christian Church, 2779 NC Hwy 98 West, Louisburg, NC  27549.
