JULIUS A. IVEY
BENSON - Julius Avery Ivey, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be the Rev. Doug Thompson. Burial will follow in Hannah’s Creek Church cemetery.

He was born in Johnston County to the late David and Lela Lee Ivey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Franklin Ivey; and brothers, Donald Ivey and Delma Ivey. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was in the commercial construction industry.

Surviving: children and spouses, Julie P. and Daylon Beasley of Clayton, Ron and Kay Parrish of Youngsville, Jeff Ivey of Garner, and Rhonda Ivey of Raleigh; sisters, Elaine (Charles) Creech of Cary and Faith (Ron) Dean of Benson; and six grandchildren.
