KITTRELL - Joey Hart, 53, died Friday evening, July 18, 2014. He was born in Wake County, the son of Carolyn Lowery Allen and the late Jones Wayne Hart Sr.

A memorial service honoring his life was held Tuesday evening, July 22, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden and the Rev. Bruce Tucker officiating.

Surviving: mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Donald Wayne Allen of Kittrell; sister, Karen Cooke (Joseph) of Wake Forest; and a niece and nephew.
