ANN S. POPE
GARNER - Ann Sessoms Pope, 79, died Sunday, March 18, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Hoke County, she was the daughter of the late Pearl and Nellie Mae Hall Sessoms. Mrs. Pope was a retired employee of the Hudson-Belk Co., with more than 22 years of service.

Surviving: daughter, Penny Jo (Jeff) Adams of Clayton; sons, Patrick N. (Debra) Pope of Franklinton, John M. (Pat) Pope of Boone, and Stephen E. (Terri) Pope of Ocala, Fla.; sister, Lib Ferrell of Georgia; brother, Charles Sessoms of Durham; and two grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Howard L. Pope, and a brother, David Sessoms.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 21) at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.
