LAURA FRANCES P. WYNNE

LOUISBURG - Laura Frances Perkinson Wynne, 100, died Monday, May 4, 2015, at Louisburg Nursing Center. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 6, at 1 p.m. at Louisburg Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Reggie Rushing officiating. Interment will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

She was born Sept. 6, 1914 to the late Oscar and Minnie Ferguson Perkinson. She was employed with Louisburg High School cafeteria and as a matron with the Franklin County Sheriffs Department. She was a longtime member and deaconess of Louisburg Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Morris Wynne, and her sons, Ralph and Tony Wynne.

Surviving: son, Bruce Wynne (Kathy); five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family asks that you consider making contributions to Louisburg Baptist Church, P.O. Box 730, Louisburg, NC 27549.

Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.
