ALICE T. TABRON

WAKE FOREST - Alice Taylor Tabron, 95, died Friday, March 23, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, March 28, with Dr. R. Logan Carson officiating. Interment was in Wake Forest Cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Stephen and Tribbie Lena Taylor. She received a bachelor's degree from Shaw University in Raleigh and a master's degree from North Carolina College of Durham. She was a retired school teacher, having taught for 45 years in the Franklin County elementary and high schools.

Surviving: a special nephew and caretaker, Edward "Harry" Smith (Louise) of Franklinton; a number of other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
