LOUISBURG - Gladys Finch Cooke, 84, of Ingleside, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015 at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation in Thomasville. Funeral services were held Monday morning, Aug. 17, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery.

She was born to the late Hobson Gray Finch Sr. and Mattie Faulkner Finch. She was a lifelong native of Franklin County and retired in 1996 from Wake Finishing after 45 years of service. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Surviving: sister, Lois Finch Ayscue of High Point; several nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton H. Cooke; three sisters and four brothers.
