GARY STEPHEN GREEN

BUNN - Gary Stephen Green, 64, of Bunn, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at Duke University Hospital. He was born in Troup County, Georgia and son to the late Thomas Green and Voncile Chavez Green.

Gary was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a loving father, grandfather and brother, a skilled craftsman, avid gardener, and devoted football enthusiast. His optimism, easygoing charm and effortless sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon February 23, 2016 in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bunn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Green is survived by his children, Korie Elaine Caruso (Leonardo) of Basking Ridge, NJ and Gary Ryan Green (Shana Tull) of Bunn; grandchildren, Annabelle, Charlotte & Luigi Caruso all of Basking Ridge, NJ and Travis Green of Bunn; brother, Dennis Green of Texas; sisters, Diane Meiss and Stephanie Green both of Texas; special friends, Grizz Key of Florida and Donnie Baker of Wendell; and extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Green.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the funeral service at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg, NC. (919-496-4191)
