JOSEPH WILLIAM PORTER

Joseph William Porter, 34, died unexpectedly from a drug overdose on Thursday June 9, 2016 in Wilmington, NC. He was born on July 5, 1981 in Cincinnati, OH to Phillip and Susan Porter. Joseph loved sports especially Duke Basketball. He was a good athlete and enjoyed physical conditioning.

Joseph is survived by his companion, Sarah Williams; his sons, Oliver and Elijah; mother, Susan Porter (Paul Spina); father, Phillip Porter (Fonda); brother Michael Porter (Brittany); step-sisters, Amy Kennedy (James), Samantha Daigneault, Alexis Daigneault; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who all loved him very much.

Services will be held on Thursday June 23, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at the Louisburg College Chapel, 501 North Main Street, Louisburg, NC.
