FRANKLINTON -- Ilean Hazel McMahan Autrey, 76, a longtime resident of Franklin County, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor by the Rev. Mark Tondee. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens.

A native of Mitchell County, the daughter of the late Latt and Ada Young McMahan. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

Surviving: two daughters, Patricia Garcia (Kenneth) of Creedmoor, Rose Simpson (Mike) of Rougemont; seven sons, Dennis, Doug, Mark (April), Ronnie, Donnie (Penny), Gene (Vicki), all of Franklin County, Albert Jr., "Bo" of Granville County; three sisters; Frances Ledford, Brenda Cook and Genevie Carnuth, all of Mitchell County; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Autrey, Sr.; her sister, Gladys Robinson; brothers, Bobby and Bill McMahan; and two daughters, Teresa and Debra Autrey.

Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to SPARE, P.O. Box 1793, Oxford, N.C. 27565.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, Aug. 12, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and other times at the home.

Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor is assisting the Autrey Family.
