ROBERT E. WOOD
LINDEN - Robert Everton Wood, 57, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Haymount Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. A memorial service was conducted Sunday, April 29, at Hair’s Chapel Pentecostal Church, Linden. Burial will be at a later date.

Mr. Wood was a logger. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Wood Jr.; his parents, Allie and Janie Hester Wood; and a brother, Neil H. Wood Sr.

Surviving: two sons, Billy Wood and Allen Wood, both of Dunn; brothers, Jimmy Wood of Linden and James Rodman Wood of Louisburg; sisters, Patty Lee McArdle of Fayetteville, Princess LaRouge of Seattle, Wash., Lois Moore of Dunn, and Judy Lemus of Spring Lake; fiance, Carolyn Jones Bowling of Spring Lake.

Memorials may be made to Hair’s Chapel Pentecostal Church, P. O. Box 66, Linden, N. C. 28356.
