LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Roger "Pip" Hicks, 64, who died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, were held Monday, Sept. 12, at Haywood Baptist Church in Louisburg, with Minister Rachel Drumgold officiating. Burial followed in the Haywood Church cemetery.
Surviving: daughters, Angelita Edgerton (Jermaine) of Bunn, Rachel Drumgold (Michael) of Norlina; son, Roger Hicks Jr. (Bobbie); stepson, Charles Bullock (Earnestine), both of Louisburg; sisters, Pastor Katie Armstrong of Bailey, Dinah Williams and Joanne Wilder, both of Louisburg; brothers Tommy Hicks (Ramona) of Louisburg, Joseph Hicks of Franklinton; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
