Jean was preceded in death by her husband, George Warren Marshbourne; her parents; her sisters, Janice Jones, Irma Gilliam and Virginia Lopes; and two double first cousins, Douglas and Maggie Leonard.

She is survived by two very dear children, Terri and husband, Pete Tomlinson of Raleigh, and son, Warren Marshbourne of Florida; four grandsons, Elliott, Garrett, Carson, and Eric Tomlinson of Raleigh. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Frankie Lopes, and double first cousin, Darrel Leonard.

Funeral services will held at Louisburg Baptist Church with Dr. Reggie Rushing officiating Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Tomlinson Room of the church. Burial to follow in the Red Bud Baptist Church Cemetery.
