MARGIE LINDSEY RAY
HENDERSON - Margie Lindsey Ray, age 68, died Sunday, May 14, 2007 at Maria Parham Hospital in Henderson. Born in Franklin County to the late Howard G. “Buck” Lindsey and Mattie White Lindsey, Margie was a member at Franklinton Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters: Melissa Hunt (Tommy), Debbie Lloyd (Wayne); her sons, Donald Ray (Wendy), Scott Ray (Jennifer); her brothers, Joe Lindsey (Betty), Kerry Lindsey, Barron Lindsey (Marlene), Steve Lindsey (Patricia); her sisters, Ann Gupton and Louise Spencer (Warren); her grandchildren: Josie Hunt, Heather Wilson, Amanda Lloyd, Kevin Lloyd, Peyton Ray, and Tyler Ray; and her great-grandchild, Monica Ayscue. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, John William “Skeeter” Ray, and her sister, Elmarie Lindsey.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 16, from the Chapel of Franklin Funeral Service, Franklinton, with the Rev. Al Thomas presiding. Burial will follow in Mary’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Friends visited Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Franklin Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 61 Broadway, New York, N. Y. 10006.

Arrangements for the Ray family are being handled by Franklin Funeral Service.
