EARNEST RICHARDSON

CASTALIA--Funeral services for Earnest "Dirty Red" Richardson, 78, who died Sunday, March 26, 2017, will be held Saturday, April 1, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister, with the Rev. Linda Taybron officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Dorothy Richardson of the home; daughters, Dianne Monroe (Ronald) of Youngsville, Sandy Richardson-Hicks (Vernon) of Louisburg, Jeanette Richardson of Youngsville, Lynette Richardson of Bunn; son, Harvey Richardson (Cora) of Louisburg; sisters, Barbara Walker and Ruby Richardson (Ollie), both of Louisburg; brothers, Elmore Richardson Jr. of Trenton, NJ, James Artis "Genasha" Richardson (Jean) of Castalia, Rev. Willie Gray Richardson (Donna) of Wendell; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Open visitation will be Friday, March 31, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
