RALEIGH - Cheryl P. Komegray, 66, of Raleigh died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral services were held Monday, May 8, at St. Matthew Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.
Surviving: daughter, Franchelle Boone Evans of Raleigh; son, Terrance Phipps of Raleigh; sisters, Cynthia Watson of Washington, D.C. and Carrie Glymp of Norfolk, Va.; brothers, Dean R. Johnson and Barry Cornell Johnson, both of New York, N.Y., and Reginald V. Johnson of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
