CHARLIE T. CRUDUP

FRANKLINTON --Charlie Thomas Crudup, 94, died Sunday, June 11, 2017 at his home in Franklinton. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 17, at Popes Chapel United Church of Christ, Franklinton, with Elder Claude Perry officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

He was born to the late Thomas Crudup and Rosa Guess Crudup.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Celia Ann Rodwell Crudup; one sister, Minnie Crudup; three brothers, Richard, Johnny, and Jerdon Crudup.

Surviving: two sons, Charlie Jeffrey Crudup of the home and Dexter Crudup (Diane) of Rocky Mount; one sister, Julia Lee Kelly of Franklinton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Arrangements by Cutchins Family Mortuary and Cremations, Franklinton.

Our prayers are with you Jeff; we know that God is in charge and that He has the final word.It was Mr. Charlie`s time. I remember him way back when; I was a little girl. A long time friend of my late father; Chester.
