STEPHEN A. DEMENT

HENDERSON -- Stephen Albert Dement, 64, of 182 Hwy. 98 E., Bunn, NC, died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at his home.

Born in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Clarence and Shirley Cone Dement.

Mr. Dement was a former Branch Representative at Time Finance Co. He was a former lead singer in the Silverado Band and was a member of Living Stones Church of God. He enjoyed music, classic cars, and drag racing.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Living Stones Church of God, conducted by Pastor Milton Abbott and Pastor Johnnie Russell.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Dixon Dement; three daughters, Tonya Waddle (Jamie) of Kittrell, NC, Kathryn Roberson (Ron) of Kittrell, NC, and Kristi Satterwhite (Donald) of Stem, NC; a sister, Clareese Moss of Epsom, NC; and six grandchildren, Ron Roberson III, Madison Waddle, Chelsea Roberson, Kelsey Waddle, Austin Roberson, and Chance Roberson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Dement.

The family will receive friends at the church the hour prior to the service. All other times, they will be at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Living Stones Church of God, (Mortgage Drive Fund), 6096 Tabbs Creek Road, Oxford, NC 27565.

Arrangements are by Flowers Funeral Home.
