BRENDA PERGERSON PERRY

YOUNGSVILLE--Brenda Pergerson Perry, age 66, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Rex Hospital. She was born August 1, 1951, in Franklin County to Jasper and Ida (Faulkner) Pergerson. She loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as fishing, camping, and going to the beach. Brenda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, William "Buck" Perry; a son, Stanley (Tammi) Perry; a daughter, Kellie (Thomas) Gwinn; four grandchildren, Steven (Holly) Perry, Chelsi (Mitch) Parkstone, Thomas Gwinn III, and Haleigh Gwinn; two great-grandchildren, Bailee and Emory Perry; sisters-in-law, Emma Pergerson and Betty Pergerson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Sanford Stanberry "Pete" Perry; and siblings, Robert Pergerson, Jasper Pergerson, Jr, Annie Marie "Snookie" Ross, Lilly Ball, Joyce Maness, Ruby Christine "Tina" Perry, Betty Lou Pearce and Dora Mae Johnson.

A service to honor Brenda's life will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 3:00 pm at South Main Baptist Chapel, 601 South Main Street, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Gary Vassar officiating.
