CAROLYN W. DICKERSON
January 9, 1943 - February 16, 2018

LOUISBURG - Carolyn Ann West Dickerson, 75, of Louisburg, passed away Friday afternoon.

Carolyn was born in Granville County to the late Graham and Ree W. West. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dodson Dickerson, and her daughter, Teresa D. Wrenn. She worked at Wood's Home Furnishings in Louisburg for 40 years.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Seate officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 - 3:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Carolyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Lesa Dickerson of Zebulon; daughter, Pam Shearin of Louisburg; son-in-law, Steve Wrenn of Louisburg; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bob Atkins of Oxford; brother and sister-in-law, George and Jo West of Emerald Isle; grandchildren, Blake Wrenn (Robin), Adrienne Wrenn, Dean Bobbitt, Kyle Bobbitt (Maria), Haley Shearin; great-grandchildren, Harold, Rhyne, Sophia, Reagan and Kyleigh; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Piney Grove United Methodist Church, c/o Donna Ball, 352 Moulton Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
