EMMA ELIZABETH G. MORGAN

LOUISBURG - Emma Elizabeth Glasgow Morgan, 97, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at her home on 277 Edward Best Road, Louisburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, in Lancaster Memorial chapel. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Surviving are her daughter, Irene Morgan Collins and husband William; her son, Thomas Earl Morgan and wife Mary Jo; her daughter-in-law, Annie Pearl Collins Morgan; her son-in-law, Ralph Perry Collins, all of Louisburg; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Forest Clinton Glasgow and Mary Harris Glasgow; her husband, Charlie Cornelius Morgan; two stepsons, Philip Ray and Forest William Morgan; one daughter, Emogene Morgan Collins; and two brothers, Richard Clinton Glasgow and John Taylor Glasgow.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Lancaster Funeral Home, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedar Rock First Baptist Church, 4879 N.C. Highway 56 E, Castalia, NC 27816.
