LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Vanessa "Poochie" Solomon Durham, 48, who died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 22 at the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Louisburg with Rev. John Hopkins, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Church Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Evette Solomon and one son, Ramon Durham, both of the home; two sisters, Hilda Solomon of Louisburg, Shirley Thorpe of Chapel Hill; five brothers, Carlton Solomon (Eugenia) and Cornelius Solomon, both of Louisburg; Ricky Thorpe of Leland, NC; Tony Thorpe of Fayetteville, NC and Anthony Thorpe of Garner, NC.
Open visitation will be Tuesday 3-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
