WILLIE GRAY F. WHEELER

WILTON--Willie Gray Frazier Wheeler, 90, a longtime resident of the Wilton community (Granville County), died Monday, Aug. 20, 2018 at Granville Medical Center in Oxford. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church by the Rev. Carl E. Hunter. Burial will be conducted in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.

She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Conley Thomas Frazier and Essie Dare Blackwell. She worked as a registered nurse and was a homemaker.

Surviving: daughter, Tamara Wheeler of Wilton; sons, Michael Wheeler (Toni Anne) of Butner, Gary Wheeler (Polly) of Wilton and Steve Wheeler of Wilton; brother, Edward Frazier of Oxford; and one grandson.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Wheeler; three sisters, Virginia Frazier Tingen, Lucille Frazier Frazier and Mary Lou Frazier Rice; and two brothers, Harold Frazier and an infant brother, Conley Frazier.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Friday, Aug. 24, in the multi-purpose room at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 1245 Mt. Olivet Church Rd., Franklinton NC 27525.
