FRANKLINTON--Sidney Earl Burrell (Boot), 75, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2018 at his home in Franklinton. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 11, at Hawkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Eddie Williams Jr. officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
He was born to the late Daniel Blair Burrell and Thelma Grissom Burrell in Granville County. He was educated in the Franklin County Public School System.
Surviving: wife, Carolyn Burrell of the home; son, Milton Burrell of Franklinton; daughters, Sandy Burrell, Sarah Bumpers (Earl) and Jackie Parker (Alton), all of Franklinton; brothers, Albert Burrell (Ella V.) and Claude Burrell, all of Franklinton; sisters, Linda Bass of Butner, Sarah Taylor (Shelton) and Annie Ruth Smith (Rocco), all of Franklinton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
