ASHEBORO -- Lucille Hughes, age 90, formerly of Spring Hope, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Hughes, and a son, Roland Lee Hughes.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, September 10, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Holly Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Benjamin Quinn officiating. Interment followed in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by daughters, Mary Kay Hughes of Asheboro, Karen Coley of Asheboro, Rose Sledge (Mike) of Spring Hope; son, Donald Jay Hughes (Wanda) of South Carolina; grandchildren, Robbie Wells, Amanda York, Deric Privette, Dustin Privette, Christian Sledge, Jay Hughes, Catherine Hughes, Nicole Hughes; great-grandchildren, Savannah Wells, Madison Hayden, Hudson Wells, Brodie York, Hailey Hughes, Maxwell Hughes, Aliya Hughes, Braylen Hughes; and great-great-grandson, Bentley Gray.

The family received friends Monday one hour prior to the funeral, from 11:00AM-12:00PM.
