LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Austina Perry Alston, 85, who died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Opie Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
Surviving: daughters, Alise Smith (George) of Virginia Beach, VA, Arlene Terrell (Opie) of Louisburg, Annette Alston-Morgan (Tyrone) of Henderson, Angelene Pinkie Alston (Kelvin Marrow) of Louisburg; sons, Alvin Alston (Mary) of Louisburg, Audra Nelson Alston (Jackie) of Knightdale, Alfonzo Alston (Gloria) of Raleigh, Angelio Alston (Denise) of Knightdale, Aundra Alston of Raleigh; 35 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
Open visitation will be Monday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
