ROCKY MOUNT--Funeral services for Ethel R. "JoBob" Whitehead, 92, who died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church in Nashville. Burial will follow in the Union Hill Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Theresa Silver and Linda Moore (Arvelle), all of Rocky Mount, Lillie Arrington (Ronnie) and Jacqueline Whitehead (Tim Arrington), all of Nashville; sons, Sonnie Whitehead (Ella), Dan Whitehead (Leah), Bruce Whitehead (Vernell) and Alvin Whitehead (Josephine), all of Nashville; sisters, Pattie Arrington of Rocky Mount, Tabytha Wright of Norfolk, Va., Margaret Mills (Ryial) and Doretha Richardson all of Spring Hope, and Louise Lynch of Nashville; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great- grandchildren.

Wake services will be Friday, Dec. 7, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church in Nashville.
