LOUISBURG--Funeral services for James Thomas Ward, 81, who died Thursday, May 2, 2019, will be held Friday, May 10, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Hebron United Holiness Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Michael Alston officiating.Burial will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Oretha Ward of the home; daughters, Carolyn Summerset (Kenneth) of Willingboro, NJ and Cathy Ward of Charlotte; sons, James Thomas Ward Jr. (Ethel) of New Haven, CT, Jonathan Tyrone Ward of Greensboro and Jerome Timothy Ward of Charlotte; sister, Ella Cornish (John) of Florida; 17 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg on Thursday, May 9, from 3 to 7 pm.
