DAVID EARL EATON SR.

FRANKLINTON--David Earl Eaton Sr., 69, died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Transition Life Care of Raleigh. Services were held June 16, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Franklinton, with the Rev. André Johnson officiating.

He was born to the late Jimmie Lee Eaton Sr and Lucy McKnight. He attended Riverside High School of Louisburg and retired from Hon of Louisburg.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, the Rev. Susie L. Davis Eaton.

Surviving: his wife, Willie Davidson Kearney Eaton; children, David Earl Eaton Jr., (Dr. Bessalieatod Griffin) of Garner, DuShawn Eaton (Tawanda) of Franklinton, John Eaton (Yolanda) of Raleigh, Tyshicus Eaton (Nakeshia) of Louisburg, Jeremiah Eaton (Lakesha) of Youngsville, Wanda Eaton of Franklinton, Christopher Eaton (Latoya) of Bunn, Tanisha Spencer (Kevin) of Raleigh, Jeffrey Kearney (Jewell) of Dinwiddie, VA and Letitia Warren (Rev. Dr. Travis) of Prince George, VA; brothers, Joseph (Barbara), William (Lois), McArthur (Ethel), Anthony (Teresa), Wayne (Paulette), Ray (Twanda), Bruce (Sharon), Clarence (Sharon) and Leslie (Danita) Eaton; sisters, Linda Gilmore (John) and Sarah Ann Jones (Craig); 31 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

The family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Franklinton Scholarship Fund in memory of David.
