EMILY FIFIELD PERRY BARTHOLOMEW
December 22, 1939 - July 28, 2019

LOUISBURG--Emily Fifield Perry Bartholomew, 79, of Louisburg, died peacefully Sunday evening at her home.

Emily was the daughter of the late Zack and Georgie Truckner Perry and grew up in the Justice Community. Emily graduated from Edward Best High School and attended Troutman's Beauty College. For many years she ran her own beauty shop in her home. Emily also worked as a teacher's assistant at Edward Best High School. She was a lifelong member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church and a charter member of the White Level Rescue.

She is survived by daughters, Frankie Lou Bartholomew (John) and Mary Helen Phelps (Johnny); son William Taylor Bartholomew (Alison), all of Louisburg; grandchildren, Kenneth Faulkner, Hallum Dickens IV, Khlud and Hadeer Youssef, Angel Collie, Noah, Zachery and Peter Bartholomew; sister, Helen Hawkins Renn of Swansboro..

Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Duke Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery at 3976 NC-581, Spring Hope, N.C. 27882. Visitation will follow in the Duke Memorial Fellowship Hall.

The Family of Emily Bartholomew wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to all for the expressions of love, encouragement and support they have received in their time of bereavement. The family would also like to thank Bobbie G. Murphy, Tammy Harris, Betty Richardson, Betty Jean May and Latisha Coley for their love and special care.
