EVA JEAN MCCULLOCH DANIEL

CASTALIA--Eva Jean McCulloch Daniel, 80, of Castalia, N.C. passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at home. She was the wife of Curtis Wayne Daniel.

Eva was born in Halifax County, VA, August 20, 1939, a daughter of the late Tom McCulloch and Mary Kersey McCulloch. She was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church and a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Curtis Wayne Daniel Jr. (Dianne) of Louisburg, N.C., David Christopher Daniel (Paula); one daughter, Pamela Daniel Cooper (Charles), all of Castalia, N.C.; three grandchildren, Christopher Wayne Cooper, Charlsie Cooper Vanderpoel (Brent), Casey LaRay Daniel, all of Castalia, N.C.; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley M. Hammack of Rustburg. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dick Lewis McCulloch; and a sister, Frances M. Pierce.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal, by the Rev. Jim Turner with interment to follow in Wickliffe Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and after the graveside service at Falling River Baptist Church fellowship hall.
