LOUISBURG--Funeral services for James Roy "Roy Boy" Watkins, 75, who died Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, were held Monday, Dec. 2, at Eagle Rock United Christian Church in Wendell, with the Rev. Everett Sanders officiating. Burial followed in the Eagle Rock Church cemetery.
Surviving: wife, Barbara Watkins of the home; daughters, DeeDee Sanders (James) and Delphia Moses (Thomas), all of Louisburg, Ginger Terrell (Kenneth) of Raleigh; son, Tracy Watkins of Louisburg; sisters, Shirley Harris (Ted) of Rolesville, Janie Greene (Johnnie) of Raleigh, Wilma Doris Lucas (Alfonso) of Nashville, Ethel Lee Cooley of Raleigh; brothers, Newbern Watkins Jr. (Lucy) of Raleigh, Edward Lewis Watkins (Barbara) of Wendell, Lonnie Thomas Watkins of Raleigh; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
