Catherine Wynne Fowler, 92, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2019 at Hillside Nursing Center in Wake Forest. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at Plank Chapel Methodist Church, 3047 Bobbitt Road, Kittrell. Family will receive friends after the service.

She was born on Jan. 27, 1927 in Warren County to the late Barker and Blanche Knight Wynne.

Surviving: daughter, Patricia Hedgepeth of Zebulon; sons, Robert Finch and Thomas (Tommy) Fowler of Kittrell; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Wynne Moody (Alton) of Hopewell, VA; severral nieces and nephews.

She was prreceded in death by her husband, Riley H. Fowler; son, Ricky Dale Fowler; sisters, Ruby Cole, Louise (Tootsie) Bentley, Faye Barnette, Jean Wynne; brothers, Barker (Buck), Charles and Jack Wynne.
