ANN N. GILLIAM

LOUISBURG--Ann Nevils Gilliam, 74, of Louisburg departed this earthly life on January 30, 2020 at her home. She was born on November 3, 1945 to the late Alton Leo and Alice Irene Jeffreys Nevils. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Nevils.

Ann loved her family dearly and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was employed with Franklin County Schools at Edward Best Elementary School for 24 years. She was a faithful Christian woman and very active with her Sunday school class and loved visiting and encouraging others.

The family received friends Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services where funeral services followed at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Kaden Williamson officiating. Burial followed in Duke Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ann is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Harold Gilliam, and her daughter, Jama Stallings (Jeremy), and her grandchildren, Josie and Joshua Stallings.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church Senior Citizens ministry, P.O. Box 60, Louisburg, NC 27549.
