MAVIS N. BURNETTE
June 18, 1926 - July 26, 2020

LOUISBURG - Mavis Nash Burnette, 94, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning.

Mrs. Burnette was a daughter of the late John W. and Ethel D. Nash. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Pete" Burnette, and her brother, Arttress Nash.

She was a faithful member of White Level Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Burnette is survived by her daughter, Jamie B. Davis of Raleigh; grandson, Stephen Davis of Navarre, FL; sister, Sedonia Nash of Castalia; brothers, Fed Lee Nash of West Columbia, SC; Willard Nash of Louisburg.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to White Level Baptist Church, 2400 White Level Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549 or a charity of one's choice.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
