EUGENE C. BURROUGHS SR.

KITTRELL--Eugene C. Burroughs Sr., 84, died Saturday Sept. 5, 2020 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. at Concord Missionary Baptist Church, Kittrell, with Elder Jerry Perry officiating.

He was born to the late Charlie Burroughs and Alice Bullock Burroughs in Vance County.

Eugene was married to Margaret Blacknall Burroughs and to this union two sons were born.

Surviving: his wife, Margaret Burroughs of the home; sons, Eugene C. Burroughs Jr. (Elizabeth) of Youngsville and Rodney Burroughs of the home; five grandchildren; brother, Edward "T" Burroughs of Henderson; sister, Betty Brown of Bronx, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
