ANNETTE K. MCGHEE

FRANKLINTON--Annette Kearney McGhee, 76, of Franklinton, NC died Friday, September 18, 2020 at her home.

Born in Franklin Co., she was the daughter of the late Hillard Willard Kearney and Annie Laura Shearon Kearney. She was the widow of Bobby Ray McGhee.

Mrs. McGhee was retired from Americal Inc and was a member of Union View Baptist Church in Franklinton.

A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton, conducted by the Rev. David Averette.

Surviving are two daughters, Frances McGhee-Poole and Linette McGhee, and one son, Robert McGhee; one brother, Willard Kearney Jr.; three grandsons, Joshua McGhee, Zachery Poole and Donnie Vandenburg; and three great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael McGhee; three sisters, Rosemary Freeman, Patricia Bennett and her twin sister, Jeanette Patterson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Franklinton Baptist Church, all other times at the home of Robert McGhee in Franklinton.
