JAMES EARNEST HICKS

LOUISBURG--Funeral services for James Earnest Hicks, Sr., 72, who died Monday, October 12, 2020, will be held Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, with the Rev. Douglas Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks family cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Priscilla Perry of Columbus, GA, Michelle Hicks (Karim) of Louisburg; sons, James Earnest Hicks Jr. (Libby) of Louisburg, David Hicks (Tangeline) of Raleigh, Derrick and Darryl Hicks, both of Louisburg; stepdaughter, Heather Williams (Brandon) of Cary; sisters, Patricia Perry (Jesse), Diane Hicks and Annie Belle Perry, all of Raleigh, Nonie Belle Perry of Atlanta, GA, Hilda Arrington of Baltimore, MD, Linda Faye Perry of Durham; brothers, Hugh Perry (Veronica) of Charlotte, Randy Perry (Katina) of Greensboro, Joe Louis Perry of Raleigh, Farrie Lee Perry of Durham; 32 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.
